Bio
I started teaching at Morris High School in 2005. I was born in central Illinois but moved to the Quad City area during my elementary school years. A graduate of Morrison High School, I attended Sauk Valley Community College before graduating from Northern Illinois University in 2005. I obtained my Master's from Governor's State in 2009 in Education Administration.
My primary courses of teaching are in the area of math (Pre-Algebra and Algebra), but I work across the curriculum areas with students.
Outside of being a teacher, I am the head coach of the Morris Redskin Swim Teams. I am in my fourth year as the Head Coach after serving as an assistant for six years.
In my spare time I am avid runner and triathlete. You can easily find me running or biking the streets of Morris. I also enjoy reading novels in the areas of crime, horror, sports, and history.
